Tested valves are type-tested with two or three port connections and two switching positions. These are safety shut-off valves in the basic closed position. The type testing ensures that all valves seal closed within one second in the event of a voltage drop to reliably shut off the fuel supply (safety valve).
The DVGW version includes valves that are approved only for gaseous fuels according to DVGW G 260 (A) (only for gas burners). Nominal orifice sizes of approx. 0.50", 0.75", and 1" are available in the steel-nickel-coated version.
The TÜV version is a valve that is used only for liquid fuels according to DIN EN ISO 23553-1; these valves are approved only for oil burners. Nominal orifice sizes of approx. 0.375", 0.50", 0.75", and 1" are available in the galvanized steel version.
The ATEX valves are directly controlled solenoid valves with two or three port connections and two switching positions. These EX-rated valves are approved for ATEX Zone 1/Category 2 and are used wherever explosive gases and dusts are to be expected (mining applications excluded). The ATEX valves are available with nominal orifice sizes of approx. 0.375" to 2". The media pressure range extends from vacuum to 7500 psi. Technical details can be found in the data sheets.
The flow factor (Cv value) ranges from a few liters to 32 GPM. The valves are available with port connections that are threaded or flanged. A junction box is required as the electrical connection.
