The valves' technical design is based on media and application requirements. This can lead to deviations from the general specifications shown on the data sheet with regards to the design, sealing materials and characteristics.
Series LVP 06 valves are pneumatically actuated valve with two port connections and two switching positions, and with a nominal orifice size of approx. 0.25". Control is either carried out via a direct mounted 3/2-way pilot valve or a customer-provided pilot valve.
Series LVP 06 has been specially designed for high-pressure gases, but can also be used for clean fluids. The valves can be used up to 7500 psi. This series is used highly successfully in gas filling technology as well as process technology in petrochemicals. The housing material is made of brass, and the valve seat is made of Monel. The valve can be operated normally open or normally closed. The valve state (open or closed) can be indicated by means of an inductive limit switch.
