The valves' technical design is based on media and application requirements. This can lead to deviations from the general specifications shown on the data sheet with regards to the design, sealing materials and characteristics.
Series V2 is a pneumatically actuated valve with two port connections and two switching positions. Series V2 has been developed for hot gases up to 752°F. The special applications of Series V2 are hot gas filtration and filter cleaning during the coal gasification process in coal-fired power stations. Series V2 valves have a special feature – they open and close extremely quickly in order to generate a pressure surge in the filter / pressure tank.
Series V2 is characterized by a hermetic seal to the outside as well as an extremely wear resistant valve seat. The control is carried out via a direct mounted or external 5/2-way pilot valve. Series V2 valves are available with orifice sizes from approx. 0.50" to approx. 3.00" and pressure ranges of 240, 750 and 960 psi.
The valves can be optionally equipped with a variety of pilot valves and limit switches, mounting brackets, and with diverse plug connections such as M12x1 DESINA/VDMA.
